Hiked High Ridge Trail this week and it was classic summer Sun Valley- steep climbs, shaded woods, and a big open meadow full of blooming Paintbrush.
The trail works you a bit at the start, but once you get through the trees, you're rewarded with wide views from one of the many ridgelines. It's the kind of spot that makes you stop for a snack and stay longer than you planned.
We didn’t see another person the whole time. Just us, the breeze, and a trail that felt completely ours for the day.
